Oxidized wax is a kind of high-temperature polymerization wax additive. After a long time of polymerization and oxidation, the product performance is more stable. At the same time, it also has the characteristics of "four high", namely, high melting point, high viscosity, high crystallinity and high acid value. What industries are oxidized waxes mainly used in?
1. PVC hard products industry: oxidized wax is partially compatible with PVC, and is used as a smoothing agent, especially suitable for PVC extrusion industry. In the early stage of extrusion, the oxidized wax mainly plays the role of internal smoothing, promoting the dispersion of fillers and pigments in the formula, and making the mixing more even. In the later stage of extrusion, the oxidized wax will migrate to the surface of the filler and metal equipment, assume the role of the external smooth agent, promote the demoulding, reduce the wear of the equipment and thus protect the equipment;
2. Textile industry: oxidized wax acts as spinning oil or sizing agent auxiliary in the textile industry to protect the yarn;
3. Color masterbatch industry: oxidized wax acts as a pigment dispersant in the manufacture of color masterbatch, and is widely used in the production of masterbatch of different plastics such as PC, PS, PA, ABS, POM, PET, PE and PP;
4. Shoe polish industry: oxidized wax can be used as brightener in leather and shoe polish;
5. Oscillating marking paint industry: oxidized wax is used in hot-melt oscillating marking paint, which can resist high temperature and aging, wet dispersed fillers and pigments, and improve liquidity;
6. Investment casting industry: oxidized wax can be used as medium and high temperature wax mold to improve the precision and finish of castings;
7. Paper industry: used as sizing agent;
8. Soft PVC product industry: oxidized wax can be used as insulating material for wires, cables, etc. to prevent water, corrosion, adhesion, aging, etc;
9. Wax products industry: used as a lubricant dispersant for crayons to enhance the color saturation of crayons;
10. As a smoothing agent, film remover and phase solvent for rubber and plastic processing, the oxidized wax has good compatibility with various rubbers. Because of its high melting point and low viscosity, it promotes good resin mobility, relatively reduces the power consumption of resin mixing, reduces the adhesion between resin and mold, and is easy to release the film. It plays a role in internal and external smoothing, and has good anti-static property.
